The beanie features lots of cables for a braided look.

Skills required: long tail cast on, knit, purl, cables, ssk, k2tog, , work in the round, use of DPNs or magic loop technique.

Yarn: one skein of Malabrigo Mecha or other Light Bulky (5) for sizes Baby to Adult; two skeins of Malabrigo Mecha for the Adult Large size. Some bulkier Aran (4) weight yarn could also work.
Suggested alternatives: The Petite Wool by We Are Knitters, Delicate by Vocabulary Yarns

Notions: cable (or spare) needle, scissors, 1 stitch marker, tape measure, tapestry needle, (optional: yarn or faux fur pompom)
