Pippin is a classic style cabled vest with a twist. The all over double-moss stitch texture and simple cables frame a center textured diamond pattern that is made up of knit and purl stitches. The diamonds split at the v-neck, and continue along the neck edges. Simple I-cord finish gives a clean look to the armholes and the v-neck, while the oversized boxy silhouette and a split hi-low hem is perfect for layering over tops and dresses.

PATTERN NOTES

This pattern is knit bottom-up, starting with the split hem that is knit flat and joined to work the body in the round to the underarms. Front and Back panels are worked flat, shaping the V-neck and the armholes. After joining the shoulder seams, armhole and v-neck edges are finished with an I-cord edging.
