Pipsa cardigan
This basic cardigan is knitted seamlessly top down in one piece. I-cords on the neckline, the hem and the front edges are worked at the same time with the rest of the cardigan - no need to pick up any stitches later on. Front edges are decorated with cable stitches. The cardigan may be knitted in a length of your own choosing, but please bear in mind that the yardage is calculated for a slightly shorter hem only.
This cardigan is designed to be worn open, but may also be fastened with small hook and eye closure, ribbon or knitting i-cord strings to the front edge.
Needles: 5 mm / US 8 circular needle in 100 cm / 40” and 40 cm / 16” or size needed to obtain gauge.
Notions: stitch markers, row counter, cable needle (optional)
