Here’s another very simple, quick and easy crochet pattern for Easter! These bunnies are worked in the round, amigurumi style.

You can find the flat/rag doll style peeps here (also free):
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/chillin-with-the-peeps

You will need:

  • Crochet hook  J/6.00mm
  • Yarn needle (I recommend Clover Chibi Bent Tip Needle Set)
  • Fiberfill stuffing
  • 9mm safety eyes
  • An extra 9mm eye to use for the nose
  • Pipsqueak yarn or other super bulky yarn
  • Lightweight #3 yarn as helper yarn (optional)

 Notes:

  • Please read through the entire pattern before you start.
  • Finished size: approximately 3.7” wide x 8.5” height.
  • Pipsqueak Peeps samples are made using one strand of super bulky yarn and one strand of light weight yarn held together.
  • Mark the beginning of rounds with a stitch marker.
  • Please embroider eyes and nose if giving bunny to young children or pets, as safety eyes can pose as a choking hazard. You may also cut out circles from felt and use hot glue to secure them on the bunny.
