Yarn used in sample: Dale of Norway Hauk in natural (contrast color) and black (main color)- one skein each. You’ll need about 100 meters of each color.

Needles: US 3 double pointed needles, or long circular for magic loop, or whatever size you need for gauge

Size: to fit a small/medium woman’s hand , 8” circumference, 12” from tip to bottom edge

I recommend sizing these by knitting at a different gauge. Aim for a circumference 1/2” larger than your hand around palm. Children’s sizes could be knit in fingering weight, men’s in worsted weight.

Christine has provided a French translation of the pattern, which is available for download, also. Please also download the English version for photos and charts.
