The wrap starts at top with garter stitch which is broken by twisted ribbing, to meet again garter and end with a decorative bottom border topped with cute picots at both ends.

Materials
any fingering weight yarn (# Super Fine), for your reference I used Malabrigo Sock in Eggplant #811, 100% superwash merino wool, 3.5 oz/ 440 yds (100 g / 402 m):
2 skeins or approx 853yds / 780m

Needles
size US 5 (3.75mm) and US 6 (4 mm) at least 32” / 80 cm circulars or size to obtain correct gauge

two markers
locking marker
scrap yarn cut in approx 10” / 25cm piece for Japanese short rows
1 DPN for garter tab

Gauge
26 sts x 42 rows = 4”(10cm) in garter st patt on US 5 (3.75mm) needles;
Select a yarn that has a recommended gauge of 24-28 sts /
4”(10 cm) and drapes well after blocking.
