This pattern was inspired by Sarah Kirsten’s “Morning Glory Top”, and was created and published with permission from the designer - Thank you, Sarah!

The Pisu Top is a versatile Summer piece that can be worn on its own, or layered over other garments. Knit flat in pieces, this design can be easily modified for the perfect fit, and is a blank slate for creativity with color and style! Version One ties at the front, and is perfect for layering. Version Two wraps around and ties at the back with I-Cord ties, and is perfect for wearing on its own. Both versions can be knit sleeveless or with sleeves, and are reversible!

This top was designed using the amazing Sugarplum Circus Divine Sock base - a luxurious blend of Fine Merino, Mohair, and Silk!

Tips From the Testers!

“Practice an i-cord bind off on your swatch to find the perfect tension”

“If you’re using more than one color, knit both in your swatch and block them together to make sure the colors don’t bleed”

“When starting Gsr, I did it in one knitting session to not be lost ! I suggest to do that too. I also use a row counter for the increase section of both of the panels, I used it to count the 6 rows of the pattern over and over to make sure I wasn’t missing any increase.”

“When you finish your first front panel and are ready to work the i-cord tie, leave the 6 sts on hold until you finish the second front panel and work them together so that they are worked exactly the same number of rows and with the same tension!”

“Be sure to use a measuring tape to block the pieces to the exact schematic measurements.”

“Seaming: Marked bottom of armhole and stitched to marker. Left seaming yarn attached. Tried on again to verify position.”
