Pixie Bonnet is a fun pattern with a few challenges.
It looks great in strong, bright colours or delicate soft pastels. It’s up to you!

Pixie is knit flat in one piece using a lovely, classic tumbling blocks pattern. It is then bound off using a three needles bind off (or you may choose to use kitchener stitch). The icord ties are then knit and applied along the edge of the bonnet at the same time. This can be a little challenging at first but you will quickly get the hang of it. (There are suggested links to tutorials for extra help).

For every pattern sold a ball of wool is donated to our community groups to knit hats for elderly and homeless people in New Zealand.
