This pattern is quite versatile and adaptive. You might need to use a different size crochet hook depending on the yarn thickness, hand size or tension. I usually use a 3.5mm hook but have also used a 3.75mm and a 4mm. You can test the fit by making the beginning chain and seeing how it fits around your hand. You want it to be snug, but not too tight or loose. I show you how to test this in the pattern. I have also included a gauge.
My favourite yarn to use for these gloves is Stylecraft Cabaret. You can use any DK yarn but some might be slightly thicker.
