This is a bootie pattern that has two styles of ankle cuff, a one piece pointed cuff or five petal shapes for a more girlie finish. I have it on good authority (my niece) that the lace up design means these are quite hard to pull off.
As someone who hates sewing seams, I have designed them so that the uppers are worked straight onto the sole and the cuffs are added when finishing the edges, so although you have to rejoin the yarn at various points there are no seams.

Please note that I use English crochet terms.

If you want to work in two colours you will need, for each pair, about 30 to 35 grammes for the upper and 15 to 20 grammes for the sole, cuff and laces.

It is possible to increase the size of these booties by using a 4 mm crochet hook and they should then fit 6 to 9 months, but I don’t make any guarantees about this.
