The wheat sheaf crochet design is a vintage style used originally for fine cotton thread to make table runners and chair back covers. I’ve updated the design to make these stylish table mats and coasters for the summer. I use them on my garden table on warmer days but they would look equally good on a vintage style table indoors. The quality soft cotton yarn has a slight sheen and a subtle change of colour.
