Placket Front Hooded Pullover Sweater
by Sandy Miner
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This quick and easy pattern begins at the top of the hood and works downward. The yoke will have a placket front with 2 buttons for ease in going over the head. The pattern is written in rows and number of stitches rather than in inches. Hood, yoke and sleeves are worked on a circular needle knitting back and forth and then at the underarms the body is joined and worked “in the round”. This sweater is straight down from the underarms to the bottom ribbing. I find this works better for toddlers. When the bottom ribbing is tighter is tends to “ride up” and not come down when the child moves about.
