A classic plaid motif worked in stranded colorwork — cozy, versatile, and one of the most popular patterns in the The Maker Lifestyle collection.

The Plaid Chalk Bag is knit in the round from the bottom up. The top edge folds over to hold an adjustable cinch cord, and the finished bag is lined in fleece to keep chalk dust contained. It works just as well as a dog treat pouch or small cinch bag — clip it to your harness or your leash.
The plaid repeat is a great introduction to stranded colorwork — the structure is familiar and the result is endlessly customizable depending on your color choices.
