This top is knitted top down in one piece. The ribbing around the neck is picked up and knitted afterwards.

The pattern was designed specifically for variegated yarn, so it is a plain stocking stitch. You can, however, knit it in one colour or with stripes; there are no rules after all.

As this is a Measure & Make pattern, I cannot predict your yarn requirements. The pattern will work for any yarn weight, and you can make it in any size, from doll to adult man.
