Planned pooling is a technique whereby you use the colors of a variegated yarn to form patterns as you knit or crochet. I happen to like this argyle or diamond pattern, but there are many other variations out there, thanks to David, creator of http://plannedpooling.com who designed an amazing application to help us with this. It takes a little bit of thought at first, but once you understand your particular pattern, it’s pretty simple.

As always I have a YouTube video to help you on the pattern page! Written pattern is free and the direct link is listed on the bottom.

Enjoy!

By the way, don’t forget to check out my other patterns from my Planned Pooling Crochet eBook in Ravelry: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/planned-pooling-b...
