This shawl features a cable lace stitch. It was designed so that an intermediate knitter that loves the combination of cable and lace would have a unique shawl pattern for their knitting pleasure.

This shawl features a cable lace stitch that is combined with a border stitch. Combined, the two stitches make a striking shawl. It is a fun knit, and goes fairly quickly as it’s knit using sport weight yarn. I think this cable lace shawl with it’s unique border will intrigue you. Even most veteran cable lace knitters will probably find this particular cable new and different from most that they have knitted. Both the border and focal stitch come to us from Japan.

The pattern also contains an optional crochet edging, and this is the ONLY crochet in the pattern.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of cable lace knitting.)
