Playful Banter
Variegated yarns and lace don’t often go hand in hand but in the Playful Banter scarf they do. The conversation between 2 contrasting yarns makes for quite the unexpected back and forth, and your brightly colored yarns will be shown off in a whole new way. Pair it with a solid or semi-solid to provide a wonderful contrast.
The lightweight nature of the scarf will give you just that little extra warmth you need on those first days of spring and fall without weighing you down. The pattern is written for fingering weight yarn but can easily be adjusted for any weight yarn. You will likely have to increase your needle size from the recommendation on the ball band to create the same draping effect.
The pattern is easy to follow and memorize which makes for a great project you will want to make again and again!
