The Plummy Cowl is a perfect match for SpaceCadet’s Lyra yarn, a round, bouncy sportweight that cables like a dream. The cowl knits up quickly using less than one skein, and the cablework will keep you entertained until the end. A gentle flare at the base provides extra coverage and a refined fit. Pair it with the Plummy Mitts for a matching set!

This pattern contains both fully charted and written instructions.

Recommended Yarn:
SpaceCadet Lyra — 100% superwash merino — 270 yds (247 m) per 100 g. Shown in colorway Oxblood. Sample used approx. 230 yds (210 m).

Sizing:
24” (61 cm) around base and 19” (48 cm) around body, 9” (23 cm) tall.

PLEASE NOTE: The cabled fabric pulls in the stitch gauge significantly. Changes in gauge will affect finished size, look of motifs, and amount of yarn used. To meet these dimensions, be sure to use needle size that gives gauge.

US 5 (3.75 mm) circular needles, 24” for base and 16” for body.

Other Materials:
Six stitch markers (one distinct to mark beginning of round), cable needle in appropriate size, tapestry needle.
