’Plus One Mitts’ are knit in the round from wrist to fingers and then finished with an afterthought thumb.
Two different color options are charted. Version1 has a yellow flower and Version2 has a red one.
Make both mitts the same or one of each!!

MC Tan – 2 skeins
CC1 Brown – 1 skein
CC2 Red Earth – 1 skein
CC3 Yellow – 1 skein

Version2:
MC Tan – 2 skeins
CC1 Moss – 1 skein
CC2 Yellow – 1 skein
CC3 Red Earth – 1 skein

Needles and Notions
US size 4 circular needle for magic loop or US size 4 double pointed needles for working in the round. Or needle size to obtain gauge. Plus, circular needle or double pointed needles one size smaller than gauge size needles for ribbing at the fingers.
One stitch marker, darning needle, and smooth waste yarn.

Gauge
28 sts and 30 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) over colorwork.

Abbreviations
CC1-3: contrast colors one, two and three
CO: cast on
k: knit
k2tog: knit the next two stitches together. This is a one stitch decrease.
M1R: (right leaning). Bring the tip of the left needle under the strand between stitches, from back to front. Knit through the front loop.
MC: main color
PM: place marker
Rnd/s: round/s
st/s: stitch/es
tbl: knit through the back loop of the stitch
