This pattern is for a small puppy, its bed, blanket, food & water bowls, bone and rope toy. Every item in the set is completely no-sew! The only sewing involved throughout is to add a small triangle shape for the nose and to weave in the tails of yarn. It’s small and quick to make - an ideal gift, stocking filler or craft fair item.

It can be made in any weight yarn – simply use the same weight yarn for all of the sections to ensure everything fits together.

The pattern contains lots of photos to help you every step of the way. It is written in English, using American crochet terms. All of my patterns have been independently tested prior to publication.

You will need:

Yarn of your choice. Yarn weight doesn’t really matter - the size of your project will simply turn out bigger or smaller! I used King Cole Cherished DK (equivalent to weight 3 / light worsted weight) and my finished puppy measures approximately 4.5cm tall (in a standing position) and 10cm long (when lying down with the legs outstretched). Please ensure that you use the same weight yarn throughout your project.

For the puppy (pages 4 - 7), you will need the following colours:

• Main puppy colour - I used cream (approx.20.5m).

For the bed, blanket, toys & bowls (pages 8 - 11), you will need the following colours:

• Light Blue - for the blanket, rope toy & water (approx. 17m).
• Green - for the bed & rope toy (approx. 53m).
• Brown - for the food (approx. 1.5m).
• Light grey - for the bowls (approx. 6m).
• White - for the bone & rope toy (approx. 1.5m).

Please note - The amount of yarn used will vary according to yarn weight, hook size and stitch tension so these measurements are only a rough guide. The pattern refers to the colours that I used, however these can be substituted for colours of your choice.

You will also need:

• A suitable size hook for the yarn you have chosen - I used a 4mm hook.
• A pair of 6mm black safety eyes.
• Some toy stuffing.
• A small amount of black finer yarn or thread for adding the puppy’s nose.
• Other tools you will need are a tapestry needle, some scissors and some stitch markers.
