Pocket Sized Puffin
by Picot Pals
Make a tiny colony of puffins!
I’ve linked to the free version of the pattern (on my blog).
The printable version is available HERE in my Etsy shop. It comes with printable cartons to use as packaging for selling or gifting your puffins!
pattern details
This uses less than 100 yards of grey yarn. You can use yarn scraps for all other colors.
I used Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in the following shades:
- Granite Grey
- Mandarin Orange
- Pure Black
- Buttercup Yellow
- Dolphin Blue
The body, wings, and feet are joined with a slip stitch after each round.
The wings and beak are worked as an oval. The beak is worked in continuous rounds.
I used some roving wool to create the face of each puffin. You can always sew or glue on a piece of off-white felt if you don’t have a felting needle.
