This is a circular yoke construction with the yoke being worked sideways in rows until the desired circumference is reached. The yoke is shaped using German short rows.
Then stitches are picked up around the bottom of the yoke from where the piece is separated into sleeves and body. The body can be knitted in an A-line shape or straight. It finishes off with a 2x2 ribbing.
For the sleeves, stitches are picked up at the armhole and from the waste yarn to work a few rounds in 2x2 ribbing before binding off.
For the neckline, stitches are picked up around the yoke. The neckline is then shaped using German short rows to raise the back.
There is the option to either work a closed neckline or to leave an opening at the back with a button closure.
