Whether planting flowers or baking cookies, Podge knows that in addition to making beautiful and tasty things, she’s also bound to make a mess. That’s why she’s always sure to wear her apron. Make your squirrel an apron like Podge’s so they can have fun making messes without fear of getting dirty.

Materials & Tools
Light-weight yarn in white and pink (or your squirrel’s choice of colors)
B-1 (2.25 mm) crochet hook
Yarn needle or tapestry needle
Needle and thread
Small button (If making this for a child’s squirrel friend and you’d prefer not to use the button closure, I’d recommend this alternative: At the end of Row 11, chain 20-25 instead of 14 and FO. Then attach your yarn again at the opposite top edge of the apron, chain 20-25 and FO. Weave in these ends. This way will allow you to tie the apron at the back of the squirrel’s neck.)

For Podge’s apron I used Patons Grace (50 g/1.75 oz; 125 m/136 yds) in Snow and Lotus
