Poetisa is a top down beret pattern that can easily be knit to have a bigger or smaller crown.

The Poetisa Beret was inspired by my love of reading. Whether I am reading a book of stories or a collection of poems, I always look to understand the adventure behind the writing. This beret was sparked by a need for a hat that fit both my style and my hair. Poetisa can be worn in both the cold winter months and during the fresh spring days making it an easy accessory for when you want to dress up your look just a little bit more. In Spanish, Poetisa means “poet” which is fitting for my love of poetry and writing, and as a tribute to my Mexican heritage, I felt it made the perfect name.
