The graph is 30 stitches by 30 stitches.

Yarn, hook size, and crochet technique are not important. You can follow this chart with bigger stitches (hdc, or dc) and work it in a corner to corner pattern also. This would give you a larger square. (Think placemats, table runner, pillows, etc …) I chose to do a single crochet in a horizontal direction. (Also known as graphgan, tunisian colorwork, pixel crochet, picture crochet, or tapestry.)

For dishcloth or potholders, I recommend cotton yarn. I used Lily Sugar & Creme and an H hook to get a finished size of 8 by 8 ½. I made a matching size plain “square” for the back layer of the potholders, and connected them with slip stitches around the edges. Single crochet would also work.

You can sell anything you make with this pattern.
Acknowledgement of me is nice though. As are pictures of finished projects.
