Point Made Hat
Point Made Hat
The Point Made Hat draws inspiration from the original Melt the ICE Hat pattern by Paul S Neary, rooted in the tradition of red, pointed hats worn by Norwegians as a symbol of resistance during the 1940s Nazi occupation. With a nod to the nisselue, the tall, Santa-like cap with tassels, the Point Made Hat carries that spirit of craftivism forward in a knit form that is both striking and expressive.
Melt the ICE Hat
The original Melt the ICE Hat pattern, designed by Paul S Neary of Needle & Skein, may be purchased on Ravelry by following this link:

All proceeds from the sale of this pattern go to the immigrant aid agencies who will distribute the funds to those impacted by the actions of ICE.
I am releasing my own pattern free of charge for those who prefer this shape/fit, but please consider purchasing the original pattern to support this cause, even if you knit my free version. Thanks! ♥
