Pointed Bonnet Pattern

This pattern is suitable for ambitious and advanced beginners; there are only a few slightly more complicated sections, but I have tried to explain these points as fully as possible.

Full information and instructions are included in the pattern but you will need:

• Approximately 22g of aran weight brushed alpaca (recommendations to alter for DK mohair included in pattern)
• 4mm crochet hook
• Scissors
• Darning Needle

This pattern is worked in the round and is a one-size-fits-all situation. I have, however, made note of where to alter the pattern if necessary for larger sizes. Furthermore, whilst this pattern was designed with DROPS brushed alpaca, it is easily modified for lighter weight mohair yarns, by the same means as for larger sizes.

Whilst I have not included gauge information, there are notes throughout to specify measurements which should keep you on the right track.

You can use any aran/ DK yarn you like - so long as you keep an eye on measurements, you’re golden :-)
