This is a really cute shaped hat, that comes with earflaps. It is a lovely pattern based on a design by the author’s Danish grandmother, who used to knit these for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The hat comes together quite quickly, and feels really rewarding to knit.

Any DK yarn can be used, and 2 x 50g skeins should be enough for all sizes. Instructions and pictures are also given for adding contrasting patterns anda crochet edging.
