Here we have a very customizable sweater knit in one piece from the top down, offered in sizes three months through size ten. No seaming or grafting required! Choose the size that best matches your child’s chest measurement and knit the sleeves and body to the lengths you desire! (Recommended lengths provided). The numbers in the measurement chart are measurements for the finished sweater, which includes approximately two inches of positive ease. Enjoy!

Materials:
• 16-24 and 12 inch (or dpns for the shorter size, if you prefer) circular needles in size US 7 or size needed to obtain gauge, plus one dpn
• 16-24 and 12 inch circular needles in size US 5 (or two sizes smaller than the needles that you used to obtain gauge). optional
• Three 3/4” buttons
• waste yarn or stitch holders
• Five stitch markers
• worsted weight yarn

Gauge: 5 stitches and 6 rows per inch in stockinette stitch.

Estimated yardage: 300 (400, 450, 550, 650, 750, 900) yards.

Abbreviations and techniques: CO ~ cast on K ~ knit P ~ purl Kfb ~ knit into the front and the back of the stitch PM ~ place stitch marker SM ~ slip stitch marker
PUK ~ pick up and knit
BO ~ bind off K2TOG ~ knit two stitches together
RS ~ right side
WS ~ wrong side

SSK ~ slip first stitch knitwise, slip second stitch purlwise, stick left needle into both of those stitches and knit them together
