Polperran is a fresh, lacy sock perfect for spring and summer. To balance out the lace on the front, there is plenty of stockinette at the sides, with two delicate columns of 1/1 cables on either side of the heel to add some stability. The ribbing between the cables adds additional stretch (and ‘grip’).

Additionally, if you need to customize the circumference of the sock, you can do so by adding or decreasing the number of stockinette stitches to the sides.

This pattern is top/cuff down only.

Sizes: Small (Medium, Large), with a 7 (8”, 9”) leg circumference, unstretched, unblocked.

Skills needed: basic familiarity with sock construction, decreases, increases, 1/1 cables

Additional info: The lace pattern is provided in both chart and written format.
