Brighten up a playroom with a Pompom Pillow. This big flower is knitted in acrylic DK yarns in various shades of pink, with a bright yellow pompom centre. You will need to know how to knit stripes, increase and decrease, and seaming to finish. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the pillow is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/276m skein in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and a 10cm pompom maker.

SIZES
One size only - 35cm across.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, kfb increase and the ssk and k2tog decreases.
