This blanket for a XL single bed (105 cm = 41,34”) is made using the overlay mosaic crochet technique with double crochet and single crochet stitches, and is crocheted in straight rows from right to left.
If you’re unfamiliar with this technique, no problem! You need to know how to do basic single crochet and double crochet, and you’ll be able to work this design.
This pattern comes with row-by-row written instructions and a single-page chart indicating Xs for the double crochet stitches.

The pattern will include:

• Instructions: with final measurements, yarn used and quantity, and links to video tutorials on the mosaic crochet technique.
• Written pattern, row by row.
• A single-page Chart indicating Xs for the double crochet stitches.

Yarn Needed: If you are using yarn similar to Zeeman Royal yarn, you will need 2,771.5 meters for the light colour (3030.95 yards) and about 3,012.5 meters for the dark colour (3294.51 yards), plus a 5 mm (US H/8) needle. My swatch size is 2.52 cm (99.21”) high and 1.95 cm (76.77”) wide without the border. The size of your blanket will depend on the yarn, needle, and tension.
