The FRINGE PONCHO in the sample is knitted in size 1 using yarn option 1 (2 strands of alpaca and merino held together). If you choose option 2, work the ONCHO with a single strand.

This design is worked from the top down, entirely in the round.

Once knitted, block the PONCHO so the chart accommodates the correct shape, then add the fringe.
