Poncho Liberté knits up in one Stockinette Stitch rectangle. It is finished using mattress stitch to graft the ends together to create the neck opening.

Poncho Liberté uses the Intarsia technique. Great beginner Intarsia project. Written instructions along with links to video tutorials and photographs are included in the pattern.

I used three colors, and you can do the same or two colors would look great too. Your choice!

The row gauge is not critical because I ask you to measure the length as you knit, everyone’s height being different, measuring for length is the best way to go.

You will need four skeins of Plymouth Aireado to complete the project as written in the pattern.

Size 9US 24” circular needle. Project is worked flat.
