This is such a great little poncho to throw on the kids for an extra layer of warmth and style.

The Poncho Vesto is a chunky weight poncho that is easy to knit, and easy to adapt.

Instructions are clearly written, and there is minimal shaping required. This is a great pattern for beginners.

Pattern includes 3 sizes (baby, toddler and child).

Poncho Vesto is knit in 2 pieces.
The back and front are knit flat, and seamed at the shoulders.

Stitches are picked up around the neck, and the collar is knit in the round.

A couple of fancy buttons add just the right touch.
