On a trip to Colorado to hike in Rocky Mountain National Park, my husband and I fell in love with the beauty and sweet smell of the Ponderosa pine trees. We always think of those pines when reminiscing about our adventure out west. The texture on this sock pattern brought to mind slender pine needles, and I knew I had to commemorate the time we spent in that lovely wild place.

This pattern was written for toe-up socks, but is easily adaptable to cuff-down.

Available in 56 sts, 64 sts, and 72 sts.
