Relaxing garter with an easy lace pattern makes this shawl easy to knit and wear. The shawl is fully reversible with an equally pretty pattern on both sides.

Pool drops is worked flat from the top down, starting with a garter tab. Stitches are increased every row along the edges to create the crescent shape. Pattern is fully written and a stitch count is given throughout the whole shawl. The lace pattern is also charted.


YARN
2 skeins Madeline Tosh merino light (100 % merino wool), 100 gr-420yds/384m). Sample shown in color Translation, used 794yds/726m.

Or any fingering weight yarn: approx. 840yds (768m).

MATERIALS
US 5 (3.75 mm) 24” (60 cm) circular or straight needles.
Stitch markers, tapestry needle.

GAUGE
In lace pattern (18 stitches x 6 rows), blocked =
4” x 0.8” (10 x 2 cm).
In garter pattern (18 stitches x 37 rows), blocked = 4” (10 cm).
Gauge is not crucial at all, but will affect final size and yardage.

FINISHED DIMENSIONS

ADJUSTMENTS
Shawl is easy adjustable in almost any yarn and yarn weight.
