You will need :

• Yarn - this pattern works best with medium weight (weight four yarn) or its equivalent. It does not work with thick or blanket yarn. Depending on how many coasters, prepare at least 50grams of the color you are using for each animal.
• Yarn you will also need a small amount of white for the eyes and a small amount of red if you are making the tongue
• 3 or 4mm Crochet hook
• 4 Stitch markers
• Scissors

If you want your coaster to be the same size as mine, use any yarn that can fit nicely on a 3mm hook
