玉編みのように立体的なポップコーン模様を使ったカーディガンです. Fingering weight (ソックヤーンの太さ) の糸を2色使って編みます. 3本取りの糸で編む段と1本取りの糸で編む段を2段ずつ交互に編むことで立体的な模様が簡単に出来上がります. 1玉の毛糸から3本の糸を作りながら編み進めるので, 毛糸を3玉用意しなくても3本取りで編むことができます.

このカーディガンは襟から編み始めて, 裾と袖口に向かって編み進めていくトップダウンのパターンです. とじはぎはありません. サンプルはちょっと短めの丈に仕上げてあります. 着丈や袖丈は途中で試着をしながらお好みの長さに調節して下さい.最後に前たてが編み終わった後で無理穴という方法を使ってボタンホールの穴をあけます. 先にボタンの数を決めなくてもいいので, 完成したカーディガンの上にいろんなボタンを並べて見比べながら, ぴったりなボタンの種類や数を選ぶことができます.
