A traditional popcorn & cranberries garland made in crochet!
Make it once, and it’s ready for many years to come. A very
quick crochet project, and fun for kids to help string them when they’re
ready.

Make it in acrylic yarn and you will be able to machine wash &
dry it, too! Unlike many other patterns, you will not need any plastic beads for the cranberries.

Each popcorn bead measures approximately 1.25” (3cm)
wide. Cranberries are about ¾” (2cm) wide.

Materials:
~ worsted/aran weight (size 4) yarn in Red and White
o Popcorn (P): 3.39 yards each
o Cranberries (c): 1.17 yards each
~ size F/5 (3.75mm) crochet hook

Stitches/Techniques Used:
sc, dc, Magic Ring

NOTES:

  1. You will also need a sturdy thread to string your garland. I suggest either quilting thread or unflavoured dental floss.
  2. If you’re unfamiliar with the Magic Ring method, please see my (almost) free tutorial here: Magic Ring-Tutorial
