Poppies from Heaven is a special design for me. It is the sister blanket to Poppy Madness or Poppy Crazy, which were originally designed in memory of my dad, who served in the Royal Air Force, was an avid member of the legion and sold poppies every year. This year commemorates 10 years since his passing and because Poppy Madness was given to the legion, and made $500.00 for the Poppy Fund , Poppies from Heaven is also being donated to them. I miss you dad, cheers!!

Yarn

• Pound of Love in White, 2000 yards
• Pound of Love in Cherry, 2000 yards
• Pound of Love in Black, 850 yards
• A few yards of each in miscellaneous colours if you intend to do highlights on poppies.
• Extra yarn required if you intend to do the optional crosses section.

Note: In order to have flowers with different coloured centres, tapestry mosaic is required. The rows where 2 colours are marked in the margins are tapestry rows and both colours will be used on that row.

Pattern includes both multiple-page charts (for printing), one-page chart (for tablet) and written instructions.

This blanket has a 56-stitch horizontal repeat. With 2 repeats there are 175 stitches x 212 rows.
