A POPping Yarn Dictatorship, so called due to the fact that the yarn is Pooling On Purpose (POP) and dictates how the shawl turns out.

Due to variations in the % of colour in the skein, you could end up with a shorter or longer shawl, a 4 or 7 stitch Floret Cluster and the placement of the Floret Cluster stitches will vary greatly!

I have designed this to create an elongated diamond shaped shawl as I wanted something a bit different.

Once the Floret Cluster stitch is mastered, this is a simple knit. It’s easy to follow and to see where you are up to, so can easily be knit while watching tv or travelling.

This shawl used 2 skeins of Prosper Yarn ‘Legend’ in colourway POP Maude. End result was 190g of shawl.

Final size while blocking was 220cm/50cm.

Guage is not important as there is so much variation in the way this all comes together anyway, but since the % of POP colour in each individual skein will vary, it is recommended that you knit a swatch first to determine the number of stitches in your Floret Cluster stitch.
