This Poppy makes a sweet woolly floral brooch. Simply sew a safety pin or brooch pin onto the back of the poppy, and wear your handiwork with pride.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the poppy is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in a purple shade.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, a button to decorate, and a safety pin or brooch pin.

SIZES
One size only - 6cm across.

TECHNIQUES
For beginners and above, other techniques used include a little seaming, and working k2tog decreases.
