A bright two tier English poppy, with a total of 6 petals. Poppies make fabulous embellishments for hats, bags, shawls, scarves, or as brooches and hairpins.

This pattern calls for seed beads to form the middle of these poppies.

Each of my flowers measure around 2 inches (5 cm) across though tension isn’t important.

In order to make these delicate flowers you will need the following:
a small amount of DK yarn in bright red (or a full ball if you want to make lots of them), black cotton thread and 18 dark seed beads, plus relevant tools.
