POPPY - is a replica of the traditional fabric poppy we purchase today in Canada to support the Veterans who went to war for our freedom. As a knitter, I thought it would be nice to have a woolly one as well. You can make one of these in less than an hour using your scraps. It takes less than 4 grams of worsted weight yarn, approximately 8 yards. Gauge is not important for this project. You have the choice of working it flat or in the round. The outcome will look the same.

Remembrance Day - Lest We Forget - November 11th.

NOTE - donations to the Poppy Fund are greatly appreciated to support Veteran care. Thank you.

Happy Knitting!
