This is a great project for scrap yarn! I suggest Lily Sugar n’ Cream as the main yarn since it’s very sturdy, but it’s easy to integrate scrap pieces for different parts of the granny squares.

You’ll need approximately 1 skein of Lily Sugar n’ Cream if you use other bits of scrap yarn. If you make this all in one color you will likely need 2 skeins.
