A crocheted poppy flower I designed so that it will look as close as the real poppy flower itself.

This includes written instructions and a crochet chart/diagram on how to make a crocheted poppy flower. I personally use this pattern to make accessories for my shop. You can use this flower as a pendant for jewelry, brooch, hairpin, embellishment, and applique and for decoration.

In the photos, the flower measures 4 cm in diameter and I used Monaco Mercerized Crochet Cotton, a popular crochet thread in the Philippines, which is close to Aunt Lydia’s #10.

Gauge is not really important in making this flower, you can make a large flower by using a bigger hook and yarn.
