The pdf pattern available from Judy’s store incudes both the Poppy and plain versions.

This oversized box jacket in two sizes, has dropped sleeves, stand up collar, side slits, pockets, textured rib at collar, cuffs, pocket tops and welt, with moss stitch front bands and button closure. The garment is knitted flat, has side, sleeve and shoulder seams with stitches picked up to complete pocket tops, front bands and self lined collar. The jacket features intarsia poppies as shown in the swatch or may be worked in a solid colour by simply omitting the poppies and ignoring any reference to chart placement. If you prefer, you can of course replace the poppies with any motif you like. The original yarns are now discontinued but a good substitute should be New Lanark Aran and similar shades are suggested here but, as always, do swatch.
The techniques used are stocking stitch, two coloured ribbing, moss stitch and for the poppy version, intarsia using separate bobbins for each poppy, the main yarn being carried behind the motif and woven in.

Sizes
Oversized to suit small to medium (UK dress size approximately 12 to 16) and medium to large (UK dress size approximately 18 to 22). The jacket is straight at the sides and so is the same measurement at the hip as the bust but there are slits at the side to allow a little extra ease. Please see finished measurements and measurements diagram to help choose which size to make.
