Styling references to the classic baseball shirt makes Valley Yarns Poppyseed a perfect fall women’s pullover—relaxed but with special charms. Poppyseed is knit in the round from the hem to the underarm using Haydenville DK. The long eyelet sleeves are worked separately in the round from the wrist and then joined to the body to work the yoke. Valley Yarns Haydenville DK is an extraordinarily soft blend of superwash Merino and acrylic microfiber with a gentle, exquisite sheen. It’s ideal for cables and colorwork due to its crisp stitch definition, and is also machine washable. The lace pattern is both charted and written out.
