Any fingering weight yarn will work. Summer fabrics such as cotton, silk, linen blends would be a great substitute. Adjust needles size to obtain correct gauge. As the garment sits pretty close to skin, I would recommend something very soft and comfortable.

Needles and notions: US2.5/3.00mm circular needles for the body on 16-24”/40-60cm length cords. Body is knit in the round.

Other notions: tapestry needle, stitch markers, stitch holders or scrap yarn

Gauge: 32 sts x 40 rows = 4” / 10 cm in 3x1 ribbing on US2.5/3.00mm needles, worked in the round. Since this is a ribbed fabric, measurement is taken laying flat (NOT stretched) after blocking.

Techniques used: knitting in the round, picking up stitches, increases and decreases, tubular bind-off, double knitting, provisional cast-on
